Done and dusted! Priscilla Ojo and Juma Mkambala – JP2025, widely known as Juma Jux, finally tied the knot. Priscilla Ojo, the daughter of popular Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo and her Tanzanian singer husband, shut down the internet and got everyone talking at beer joints, eateries, clubs, marketplaces, inside buses and trains—everywhere JP2025 has been the talk of the town. The dust gathered is yet to settle.
The couple began their wedding celebration, tagged JP2025, with an Islamic wedding in Tanzania in February. It was followed by a traditional wedding depicting a proper Lagos Owambe. Netizens have identified the couple’s wedding as the next most talked-about after Chivido 2024, Davido and Chioma’s wedding.
The Traditional Wedding
The stunning images are still emerging. Poised with elegance, Priscilla and her husband rocked the alluring Yoruba traditional attire, aso oke, with a never-before-seen style that commands adoration and instant respect. It was like the cherry on top of the Nigerian-Tanzanian attire they wore for their pre-wedding shoot. The pre-wedding attire, which Emmanuel Goodnews described as creatively crafted, blended aso oke with Tanzanian embroidery.

The White Wedding
The bride’s father, Ademidun Ojo, walked his daughter, Priscila, down the aisle on Saturday, April 19, 2025, to exchange vows with Juma Jux during their white wedding. Ademidun also danced with her.
As usual, the couple’s outfits screamed elegance, precision, and class. Governor Adeleke of Osun State, also known as the ‘dancing senator,’ performed a Christian song for the couple.
Mother’s Love: Iyabo Ojo, Beaming With Pride and Joy
The bride’s mother turned up at the event with a chic, majestic, and extraordinary look. She grinned from ear to ear during her interview with Bella Naija. During the interview, Iyabo mentioned that her word came to pass as Priscilla married at 24, compared to her (Priscilla’s) plan to marry at 27.
She added that she knew Juma Jux is the one for her daughter because of his intentionality for his family and his love for his people. When asked about her wish for her daughter, she expressed that it’s for Priscilla’s children to make her prouder than she did her.

Despite the JP2025 wedding venue being glamorously decorated, celebrities added more colour and beauty. Many of them arrived in expensive cars and unforgettable looks. Though the Ooni of Ife couldn’t attend the wedding, he endorsed it, causing Iyabo to express gratitude.

Behind the Scenes: Bridal Gown Unveiling
In a video Veekee Jamess shared, we see the bride in a robe checking out her dress. It was a mouth-opening episode for Priscila as she viewed the gown. She expressed, “I knew you were going to kill it and you’re so detailed.’ The bride revealed that she wanted a mermaid dress and complimented it as beautiful, and endorsing Veekee.
Priscilla’s Hair Styling
During the bride’s hair styling, she said she would miss Nigeria’s food the most, as Tanzanians do not cook with spices. She continued to express her feelings during the first fitting for her traditional wear for the first look: “I was blown away.” She described the outfit as 100 out of 100. Priscilla admitted her husband said ‘I love you’ first after a clip where her bestie, Enioluwa, and the groom’s friends said he would have said it first.
The Side Gists: hmm…Papaya X, someone called her Miss Pepeye
In the spirit of celebration, Papaya X dressed to JP2025 with the groom’s picture on her chest and the bride’s on her waist. In a video circulating online, Iyabo had calmly asked why she didn’t use the groom’s picture on the waist instead.
They laughed over the conversation, but netizens didn’t let it slide. Hence, dragging Papaya X across social media, questioning her actions.

The internet went agog once more, and people have begun to drop comments and compliments about Enioluwa’s tear-shedding episode at his bestie’s, Priscilla’s wedding. While some referred to his emotional breakdown as a disgrace to masculinity, some said he was sad because he hung around for too long, and his bestie married someone else. Some purely praised him as a great friend.

Veekee had internet users dropping hot takes because of the bride’s wedding gown, which she designed and described as God-inspired.
An X user @lekan_olayinka1 tweeted, “That Veekee James’ dress is beautiful with sophisticated artistry. But it is not of God, by God or through God. The dress deliberately exposes the wearer’s cleavage. That’s sensuality. It’s a listed work of the flesh. Insisting God inspired such is lying against him.”
Evangelist Benita Okeke also criticized Veekee over the wedding dress, describing it as immodest and indecent. She further said, “Will the Holy Spirit really lead you to make a cloth that is revealing and exposes parts of the body that are supposed to be covered?”

Priscilla’s friend, Beauty Goddess, has received backlash online for her shady comment about JP2025. Having noticed her absence at her friend’s wedding, online in-laws wondered why. This also came after Priscilla unfollowed her. Beauty responded on her TikTok handle that she could not move her flight for “JP whatever.” She later took to her Instagram story to apologize. She also expressed her love and respect for Priscilla, as well as her joy about the wedding.
Chioma Goodhair’s Moment
Chioma made a mark at JP2025 as the bride’s mother showered praises and prayers on her for her unwavering support. Iyabo mentioned that Chioma paid for the hall used during the traditional wedding.
Reacting to Diamond’s dollar spray on her official Snapchat account, she said, “I can’t lie, Diamond represented for the Tanzanians. He gave Nigerian men a run for their money! Now they’re gonna come with anger to Tanzania. Just make sure you have more dollars to spray, Mr D.” This comment also got online in-laws to share their thoughts.
