In Naijabest list of Nigerian Trailblazers is a fearless Nigerian journalist, Livinus Chibuike Victor, who broke the record for the longest interview ever held by an individual and courageously set a new record of a 75-hour interview marathon with 100 different individuals.

Professor, Akolisa Ufodike became a Think Tank member in a prestigious Canada’s Public Institution 

Professor Akolisa Ufodike, a Canada-based Nigerian, in April, was appointed as a member of a top tier Canada’s leading independent policy research institute , the C.D Howe Institute. 

He was given the position of the Human Capital Policy Council of the exalted institution.

Aside from this outstanding achievement, the erudite scholar made history in 2022 by becoming Albert’s first Black Canadian Deputy Minister.

Young Nigerian Lawyer, Omowunmi Ogunrotimi, wins the 2025 Global Citizen Prize 

Omowunmi Ogunrotimi, yet another Nigerian in the month of April, who has made a name for her country, won the 2025 Global Citizen Prize for her dedicated efforts in combating gender-based violence in the Nigeria. Her efforts in this was instrumental in the passage of the Sexual Harassment Bill in tertiary institutions at the Federal House of Representatives.

Dr. Olufunso Ojo got an award of an Outstanding Georgian Citizen 

In April, A Nigerian resident in Georgia, the United States, Dr. Olufunso Ojo, a patient-loving doctor, was awarded the title of Outstanding Georgian Citizen in recognition of his dedication to internal medicine and philanthropic leadership in the state. 

Dr. Olufunso who graduated in 1995 from Obafemi Awolowo University in Osun state, Nigeria has not only uplifted the Georgians with his philanthropic efforts but

Nigerian Media Entrepreneur, Olufemi, bags Media Excellence Award in Dubai 

Olufemi Oguntamu, a Nigerian Media entrepreneur and digital innovator was honoured with the prestigious Forty Under 40 Global award in the Media in an event that took place on April 12, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
